Hey guys! Very short
post today as it is Halloween!! J All the ghosts and goblins and ghouls are
going to be out tonight!
Since everyone is going to be out enjoying themselves, instead
of doing a review post, I’m just going to post up a couple of the creepy books
I have in my hands right now! Sort of a
mini book haul if you will!
I recently received an uncorrected proof from St Martin’s
Press of R.L. Stine’s The Lost Girl. I am absolutely loving this book! R. L. Stine is back with new Fear Street novels
and he has definitely not lost his touch!
This book has all the creepy goodness that most of us have come to know
and love with the Fear Street and even the Goosebump books from way back
when. Also, if you haven’t checked out
the new Goosebumps movie…it’s awesome!!
Jack Black does a phenomenal job of portraying R. L. Stine and…if you
look close enough near the end of the movie…you’ll see R. L. Stine making a
quick appearance!
I’m also currently reading The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. If you have not picked this book up, I
sincerely hope you go out and do so.
This story will take your mind through twists and turns and spooky
events the likes of which you may have never seen before. I’m only a little of the way through and I am
really impressed! A more detailed review
for this book will definitely be up and coming soon!
One more book on my spooky plate is one that I’m sure we’ve
all read and loved and its…Stephen King’s
Pet Sematary. I will not lie…this book gives me nightmares
every time I read it and yet, I go back to it every time. It’s definitely a very Halloween read and if
you’re into being creeped out and scared as you read? Yeah this book is definitely a must have for
you!
That’s it for this post guys. I hope you all have a wonderful Halloween and
be safe if you are going out both today and tonight!
